We saw the doctor yesterday. This time Max came along since it was a PA day. Sarah plays the ultrasound game (she pretends to give him an ultrasound) with him once in a while and Max was really excited to finally see the real thing.

As we expected, the baby hasn't moved and all and is still breech. We decided to forgo any of the procedures (turning the baby or chiropractic alternatives) and have a C-section tentatively scheduled on the 27th. That's less than two weeks! Sarah will see the doctor the next two Wednesdays so if the baby flips, we'll cancel the operation but for now, we're planning for a baby on the 27th.

This new has kicked us into serious preparation mode. Today we have:

• purchased diapers and wipes
  
• washed all the baby clothes, linen and receiving blankets
• started decorating the room
• cleared out the baby's room and brought all the baby stuff up from the basement

Sarah has four more days of work and will be off starting the 23rd.

I'm planning to be off for two weeks when the baby gets here and am working on preparing work for my absence.

Folding the baby clothes brought back memories of little Max and got us excited about the baby that is immanent.
